Today was a sad day at work. It was Bob's last day. I shared with him and Dave what yolu wrote about him on your site, and Dave wrote a really nice reply saying that's why he wanted him to work at CSU Long Beach. So at least Bob will be valued there as he deserves to be.

So your entire former department now consists of Rich, Scott, Robert and for now, Fidel and Piero (at least until school starts). It'sll be insane then, because that's when things will really get busy.

ANyway, be glad you had this opportunity, and make the most of it!

And happy birthday to y our wife! That's awesome. (Speaking of milestones, did I mention that yesterday was Bob's 26th anniversary with ASI?)
