Japan is a couple of weeks away!

After a couple of nice relaxing(?)weeks in my old home of Fresno, Japan is just a couple of weeks of away. I will fly out of LAX on July 13th. Needless to say I still have a few things to do but, I did have a lot of fun. I went camping earlier in June it was very fun. I invited a couple of my buddies from L.A. and my family. I will try and post a couple pictures from the trip on the next post. I don't mean to brag but they came out looking very nice.
I am very very nervous about leaving California but I am ready for this to happen. Hitomi (that's my wife) and I had to make a trip up to S.F. today to take care of visa paper work at the Japanese consolate. I will have to drive back up on Thursday to pick up my paper work.
Sorry that my update took so long (yeah, like anyone is even reading this thing!). I will try and be more regular about posting.

What a weekend!

Wow! Is about all I can say for the past few days. There was a little going away dinner for me on Friday. It was really fun, I was glad that everyone showed up. It would have sucked if I had to eat dinner by myself! It was good to be with friends. We were able to look back on all the fun we have had over the past few years. There was a lot of closure for me. I have lived in San Luis Obispo for almost 8 years! It will be hard to leave, but don't worry I won't get all mushy! I am sad to go but it is time for new things in my life.

WOW! My first post!

Wow! So this is it my first post... I feel like a famous author! No, who am I kidding. Anyway, I set this up so that my friends and family can have a little look into my life in Japan. All the new things that I see everyone I know can see. For those who don't know I am moving to Japan in July. I will be teaching English there (scary, huh?). My hope is to have some pictures as well, but give a little of time to adjust for the learning curve and all. I will be moving out of San Luis Obispo at the end of the month. I will be spending sometime in Fresno with my Mom and Dad during June. Anyway, I still have LOTS of work to do before I get out of SLO and I will keep you posted.....Later.
