Now this is called "The Thinker" but when I do this. . . it's just me sitting on the can!

A. Rodin's "The Gates of Hell"

This thing was F#CKING HUGE and F#CKING COOL! This guy had a bit too much time on his hands. . . it took him 37 years to make it.

This room is where I drank tea and ate sweets. It was quiet and peaceful, a good place to be alone with your thoughts (and your tea).

This castle is a LOT bigger than the one in California. It was like 2/3 bigger! It was TALL! I got to admit it looked better than the one in Cali!

shrine lights

shrine lights
Originally uploaded by Drew In Japan.
I have a big big post coming up in the next few days. I will be about my "summer vacation". I took a couple of trips; one to a little town called Yui and the other BIG trip was to Tokyo Disneyland! both were very very fun and interesting! I will also post a few other pictures as well.
For now, here is a picture that I took at a shrine near my work. I don't know the real name of the shrine I just call it the "McDonalds Shrine" because it is right next to the McDonalds. I thought it was a cool picture because of the contrast; a peaceful quiet shrine with the busy outside world peeking in over the top. I hope you all like it.

tekken

This guy is a comedian named Tekken. He uses little drawing and tells funny stories. . . well, at least they might be funny. I don't know, it takes me like 5 minutes to translate 3 words during his stand-up routine! Anyway, he was in front of my work promoting a show or something. It doesn't really matter what he was doing, the only thing that matters is . . . HE LOOKS LIKE A FREAK!!!!!!!!!

Ahh, Japan.
