The fear of God, giant tigers vs. bread, and other stuff

I think that I will start off with some of the stuff that has been going on at work. Just because it is really funny. I have 3 new groups of kids classes! One group are little kids (ages 4 to 6) and they are funny as hell. They have a good time and I have a good time so we get along just fine. I have been teaching them things like. . .a cow goes "Moo" but when we get to what a dog does we have some confusion. See in Japan kids are taught that a dog goes "Wan Wan" not the U.S. standard "Woof Woof" so it took me about a week to convert my kids to the U.S. version and trust me they were confused as hell! They kept looking at me like "Is this guy for real?! A dog does not go woof woof. What's this guys problem!" But all in all they are a fun group of kids!
My other class is seniors (ages 10 to 12) is good to BUT I had to set the tone on the 1st day. It was like going to prison or something. I had to make my mark on the brattiest kid in class. So right off the bat I tell them in Japanese I don't understand Japanese and that they could ONLY speak in English. Everyone was OK but one little f%ck had to test me. He was like "No." I shot him a look that would make Stone Cold Steve Austin do a double take, and said "What?". It got so quiet you could have heard a fly fart. All the kids looked at me (my class is 8 kids) wtih WIDE eyes and a scared look on their little faces! And I think I smelled a faint smell of piss in the air. Heh heh heh. Since then there have been NO problems. The boys in the class are future jackasses BTW. I make teams in the class and have the teams compete against each other for points . And I let the kids come up with their own team names. So the other day the girls could not come up with a name for their team so the boys being the jackasses that they are were coming up with names like monkey and other dumbass names for the girls' team name. SO I helped out the girls and gave them a team name of the Giant Tigers (two of the popular teams in baseball in Japan) and the boys started laughing at my team name BUT get this, the name that they came up with was a WINNER. Their team name was bread. Yeah, bread. Kids, god I hate 'em.
Other than that work has been going well. And I have been having a blast. I can't believe that it will be almost 10 months that I have been working.
I will be moving into a new apartment this weekend and I am looking forward to it. It is a very nice place but it is a little far from the place where I work. It is about a 25 minute walk to work SOOO that means that I will have to get a bike. GOD how uncool is that?! Man just 10 years a goI was out crusing with some of the coolest cars in all of the Central Valley and now I am reduced to riding a bike. sigh. I will be posting pictures of my new place in about 20 min. Along with some other pictures that I took over the weekend. They had some sumo dudes out at the local shrine practicing. Which was really cool. But they were really mean to some of the guys that they were fighting against. At one point a young sumo dude was fighting a MUCH better guy and lost, so the better guy gives him a kick in the gut for his troubles! It wasnt a hard kick but it was just mean! I will be going to sumo again next month and Iwill have some kick ass pictures this time around!
Oh one last thing. .. . I will be turning 30 next month. and all I can think is where the HELL did the time go?!?! shizzle
